Persona 4 arena ultimax soundtrack1/11/2024 ![]() Nine new characters have been added, as well as alternate Shadow versions of the majority of the cast. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax(titled Persona 4: the Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold in Japan) is the sequel. This game takes place two months after the events of Persona 4 as well as two years after Persona 3 and while I assume that most of the people interested in this game have already played through these games, I want to warn you that there are spoilers for both P4 and P3. Persona 4 Arena(titled Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena in Japan) is a fighting game developed by Arc System Works who have worked on both Guilty Gear and Blazblue, and is based off of the JRPG Persona 4 developed by Atlus. It's only flaw is that it's probably used one too many times after it's initial use.Release date: November 28th 2013 (arcade), Aug(JP console), Septem(NA console), Novem(EU console) I won't say much as to where it plays to avoid spoilers, but it's very emotional when it does play. The new iconic song of the franchise, and probably one of the best vocal songs in the entire series. It's only used for one boss in the entire game, but boy is it a great one. Persona 4 Golden - I'll Face Myself -Battle- Reincarnation version. Really embodies the theme of Persona 4 very well. This track doesn't get a lot of love, even though almost every time it plays it's a heartwarming moment. But I also like the feelings this track evokes where it plays in the game. No explanation needed for The Battle For Everyone's Souls, I think? One of the most iconic tracks from the franchise. Memories of the City is just an amazing track that sets the tone for the final part of the game. Persona 3 - Tie between Memories of the City and The Battle For Everyone's Souls. ![]() Monado Mandala is just a creepy awesome final dungeon track, although it's PS1 version is better. ![]() Liked the PS1 Opening, Loved the PSP version. Persona 2: Eternal Punishment - Tie between PSP Opening and Monado Mandala. Knights of the Holy Lance is the obvious choice, being a late game boss theme, but Main Theme B is one of the better renditions of the game's ending theme: Kimi no Tonari Persona 2: Innocent Sin - Tie between Knights of the Holy Lance and Main Theme B. Maybe it's because of how spaced out bosses are in Persona 1, but it never gets old. I don't know why, but I really like this as a boss battle theme. The PSP version of Night Queen isn't nearly as good. Awakening Legend is a classic, and the intro/instrumentation to Night Queen is amazing. Persona 1 (PS1) - Tie between Night Queen (couldn't find the PS1 version) and Awakening Legend. The soundtracks are just that good, no matter which one you pick. Honestly, picking out favorite songs is very difficult. The song's lyrics can speak for themselves. The dramatic shift in the music at 1:58 is the best part. My actual favorite Persona 5 song is, unsurprisingly. I was merely caught in the moment at my most vulnerable having finished such an epic story about super hero thieves. ![]() That was not my favorite song from Persona 5. Perhaps I felt the same way during Persona 4 Golden's credits.Īlas, I have lied to you. I don't remember the last time I've felt so emotional during the ending credits of a game. (Then again, I've only played 4 & 5, so I may know nothing.) Hit after hit after hit throughout the game, this was Lyn's moment to unleash her full power, and she delivered. The songstress they hired for this game (Yes, "songstress." It's that serious.) has more power in her voice than any singer before her in the franchise. I love everything about this song that I could sing it for days. The music is beautiful and fits extremely well with the theme of going on an evening stroll with your friends. All I wanted to do was to chat with them more and more, and they always had new things to say depending on the current events of the story. There was nothing I looked forward to more than to go out at night to see my friends before heading back to bed. There are far too many exceptional tracks in the Persona series to pick out the best ones in each, but I surprisingly came to the following choices quite easily thinking back to how much they impacted me during my time with each game. ![]()
